While the T08 looks good on paper, there are definitely pros and cons...
Pros:
- War Turtle - Fast charging (12s), duration (4s), self-healing moving invulnerable tank. What more can I say... My T7 Behemoth lost to a T08 bad player in a team battle. A good player landslide victory over me.
- One-shot with lower power? - With striker, if one can one-shot bots at lower power, upgrades can be devoted to upgrade speed making it move and turn faster. New records will be set soon.
Cons:
- Lower Profile - Blind spots that only expose your turret and hide your hitbox does not work or need adjustments on certain maps. E.g. Volcano, Castle town, Oasis. Ramps need to peek out more, thus exposing your hitbox with the risk of being shot. In retrospect, new blind/strategic spots can be discovered with the new lower profile.
- War Turtle Bugs - Propagation delay of about 0.5s after activation. Occasionally, it activates but no purple shield and not effective especially when you mesh on the UA button just before it finishes recharging.
- Uncomplimentary Pilot skills - Reduced damage with prediction reduces the shot absorbed to be converted to health, so it's bad.
- Bots learn to avoid your War Turtle - they miss or do not fire on purpose after you activated. However, the developers put in a certain probability %.
